The striker was shown a second yellow card after a clash with the 35-year-old with television replays appearing to show the Spain striker attempting to bite Barry's neck
Barry has now given his view of the incident.
"Seen a lot of talk about the incident involving me and Diego Costa in the game last night. For the record Diego did not bite me," he wrote on Fanzai.
Costa's dismissal was the first of his Chelsea career and led manager Guus Hiddink to joke after the match that he may take his controversial striker out to see the film 'Anger Management'.
