recovering from a heel problem and is now expected to start Tuesday's
Champions League last-16 second-leg at the Etihad Stadium
Toure struck the final goal in an impressive 3-1 win in the Ukrainian capital last month but has missed subsequent Premier League matches against Liverpool and Norwich City due to a heel problem.
The Ivory Coast international's absence was keenly felt on both occasions, with a 3-0 defeat at Anfield and a goalless draw at Carrow Road on Saturday contributing to City falling nine points off the pBut after the midfielder returned to training on Monday morning, City boss Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that he is available as the Blues look to clinch qualification to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time.
"Yaya is fit to play tomorrow," Pellegrini said. He doesn’t have any problem."
And he is likely to be thrown straight back into the team, despite City's 3-1 aggregate lead and the prospect of Sunday's Manchester derby.
"Tomorrow we put out our strongest squad that we need to win the game, not to play with the other score," Pellegrini added. "So tomorrow we put in the pitch the strongest squad that I think in this moment we can do."
